Tech Ed SEA 2008! Day 3… Be the part of the experience

August 13th, 2008

The third day of Tech Ed SEA 2008 has ended. Basically, day 3 is mostly the same to day 2. Participants kept rushing from one conference hall to another hall to attend tech sessions presented by industry expert, mostly from Microsoft.

A picture’s worth a thousand words, here are some scenes captured on day 3 to be shared with you.

The snapshots of Microsoft booth which located at the main entrance of the exhibition hall. On top of located at the most strategic area, the booth is a circle structure that divided into 4 partitions facing all directions.

Lunch time. We went to a great spacious dining hall at ground floor to enjoy our buffet meal.

My main dish with a big pile of food scooped by my colleague. Don’t get cheated by the 2 dimensional view, there was actually another “layer” hidden beneath the surface.

Geeks face-off quiz. In this tournament quiz, participated teams were tested with their knowledge and speed to answer IT-related questions in the shortest time.

Wonder what’s this guy doing with those ice cubes? The answer is, he was trying his best to search and take out 10 red beans from a box of ice cubes within 30 seconds. Besides ice cubes, there were green beans put inside the box as decoy. Many left the game without nothing, but only their frozen cold hands.

This is the”Mr.Freeze” of this so called “Cold Factor” game. According to him, good planning is the essential key do the trick and win the game.

Cash for grabs! I did mention this game in the first day blog, but never realized they gave money as reward.

In the end, she scored more 1500+ points. Guess what? She won 3 angpaos as reward. 500 points, one angpao.
